With a clouded in sunset I was searching for a place to take a final set of photos. On the way to check out the Pahayokee Overlook I noticed a small opening in the trees.
Though it was a simple construction effort by the
@evergladesnps to help direct the flow of water to prevent flooding on the road, it allowed me to get a photo of a swamp-like setting. I didn’t come equipped with waders to venture into other swamp areas so this was a pleasant surprise.
Also in the carousel of photos is a cropped photo of a special photo location that will have a separate post. As well as a dragon fly and some small mangroves in a field.
But the last photo is a picture of demon spawn, what looks like a small fly is the most annoying creature in the whole park. One of these flys isn’t a bug deal, but around blue hour they come out in swarms. They circle you, they buzz in your ear, and they bite. The bite hurts.
