My first sunset in Florida was spent with my rushing to find a place that faced west. The park ranger from the @bigcypressnps mentioned that the gator hook trail was a great area to get a sense of the Big Cypress Landscape. So racing into the trail I found a tree that seemed to be holding on to the sun for as long as possible in its trunk. What I totally forgot was that the ranger did mention that I might want boots or waders for this trail, so I ended up going ankle deep in mud with my sneakers for some of these shots. But worth it, I didn’t care much for these shoes anyway. Before the sun set I was playing around with the leading lines of the path to the trail and was reminded of all the car photos @thechrishau does on his feed and YouTube, so I tried to play around with that with my Nissan Versa rental.
