No matter how much research you do one of the best suggestions I can give is to ask a park ranger on where to go if you need a last second idea. One of the rangers at the @bigcypressnps visitor center told me to check out Kirby Storter to get a real feel of a swamp in the Big Cypress National Preserve. One thing to note about these kind of areas is you have to look carefully for wildlife, like you are playing eye spy or where ‘s Waldo. A small turtle can blend into a pond filled with Lilly pads without even noticing. While looking for small details to include in posts I think photographers are alway looking for shapes in nature, especially hearts.
