In our latest installment of Masked and Answered, Avery Bradley, a communication studies major from Atlanta, Georgia, discusses the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine: “I feel so lucky to have gotten the vaccine. I have high risk friends and family members and I’m feeling so relieved that I will be able to see them and spend time with them this summer. I know some young people might feel like they’re healthy and don’t need the vaccine, but we have to remember the people around us and the ways they can be impacted, too. Getting vaccinated is so important in getting us to a point where everyone can feel safe and comfortable. We are so close to being able to go out and do normal things like grabbing food together or going to the movies, and it’s so important that we all do our part to get vaccinated to make that happen.” - Avery Bradley #VU2023 #Vandygram #AnchorDownStepUp
