V: I knew some upperclassmen who were going here and they really liked it, so I decided to go. Also, it was just far away from home and I like Nashville. J: I really like the liberal arts that are available here, as well as Nashville. Just the fact that it's a city is really amazing, especially coming from a non-city. And both of my parents came to graduate school here, so I was slightly biased. Q: How does Vanderbilt being in Nashville influence your time here? J: I mean, there's so many opportunities to go somewhere. I feel like I'm always hearing about different things happening around campus, which is very interesting and fun.
