A: One of my friends made me realize it was possible to come to the U.S. He gave me two books: one big red ACT book, and another book that talked about the most popular colleges for European students to go to. Vandy seemed like a good social and academic fit. Q: What do you love most about VU outside of the classroom? A: The people, generally. A lot of the people here are interesting, very accomplished. One thing that’s different about universities in the UK is that to get into a top university you just need to have stellar grades. Here they use a holistic approach, so a lot of people here have excelled in other things too.
