A: After a lot of self-reflection in high school, I was considering three different schools: my state school, a college in New York, and Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt for me, was a nice in-between, where I was able to go to a prestigious school with a decent sized student body. The size of Vanderbilt was one of the most convincing factors, along with financial aid. Q: What do you love about Vanderbilt in and out of the classroom? A: Inside the classroom, I really love the intellectual engagement that Vanderbilt offers me. For example, in a class earlier this week we discussed the words “friends,” “enemies,” “strangers,” and how they interact with each other and what that means in terms of community building.
