With our final draft prospect profile, we will talk about one of the more intriguing prospects in third baseman Cam Collier. Collier, only 17 years of age, already has some college experience under his belt at Chipola JC in Florida. He has been flying up draft boards as of late, many teams liking his raw talent and high upside that he brings to the table. The hit tool appears to be his strong suit, having a great approach at the plate and can extend at-bats with the amount of patience he carries. Cam’s bat speed is also quite impressive for his age the way his swing is very effortless. While his power is not completely there, I would not count him out being able to develop that tool in the minor leagues given the way he can drive the baseball.
