"We need to be role models for our young people, and set a fire in their hearts that speaks to the greatness in them." Dr Adaeze Ifezulike MBE is a GP based in Aberdeen, Scotland. She was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year's Queen Honour award for her work within ethnic minority communities and her passion for health inequality. She is a Sir Lewis Ritchie award recipient and NHS Grampian ORANGE award winner. Originally from Nigeria, her life continues to inspire many black youths to be the best they can be despite the challenges of being ethnic minorities. She has authored medical books as well as children's books.
