Our Chapel of the Sacred Heart will be the site of two special Mass celebrations this weekend. Our CHS Alumni First Friday Mass will be held at 7:45 a.m. Friday. On the first Friday of each month, alumni are welcome and encouraged to join our school community for the First Friday Masses, all of which are celebrated by Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J. Attendees should enter the school through the glass doors of the main entrance to the Koessler Academic Center, 1180 Delaware Ave. At 5 p.m. Saturday evening, the Chapel will host a memorial Mass for Fr. James F. Keenan, S.J. Fr. Keenan was called to eternal life on Aug. 13. He made a profound impact as the 28th president of Canisius High School from 1989 to 1994 and was a tremendous force at Jesuit schools throughout the Northeast.
