👏 think360arts #repost Today is Ageism Awareness Day! This initiative, led by asaging, is centered on "reframing how we talk about aging and older people in a society where ageism is pervasive." ⁠ ⁠ At Think 360 Arts, we work to promote the inclusion of quality arts programs in communities that serve older adults; preparing teaching artists to work with older adults; and fostering lifelong learning within our communities through our Creative Aging programs. ⁠ ⁠ This past week Think 360 Arts staff and board members visited one of our Creative Aging program at A.B. Hirschfeld Towers. This program entitled, "Folding Paper to Hold Stories: Simple Bookmaking", is in partnership with DPL Ross-Broadway and is led by Think 360 teaching artist Jo Fitsell. ⁠ ⁠ During this six week program, participants meet once a week to create their own works of art.
