10 Years Ago Today, Joey and I Started Got Sole - Two Kids with A Dream and No Clue What The Next Decade Would Bring. We had just lost everything in a house fire and lived in a trailer for a year, and we took the biggest risk of our 14 and 16 year old lives - putting everything we had together to throw an event in an old church in Boston… and that risk paid off. When we opened the doors on September 28th, 2013 - we were shocked that 300 people showed up. That feeling of shock and our dreams coming true happens time and time again to this day. Over the last ten years, this company has allowed me to do things, see places, meet people and have experiences that I never thought were imaginable. Whether it be hosting 5,000+ people in a city I never thought I would go to or working alongside my childhood idols, those “pinch yourself” moments have never gone away. The words “thank you” could never make up 1% of the gratitude I have for every single person who has been a part of this journey...
