The perfect season: Our canisiushsgolf Crusaders capped off a flawless team season with the All-Catholic Championship.
The Crusaders’ team score of 191 Friday at Springville Country Club gave CHS the All-Catholic Championship title to go along with the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association regular season crown they earned with an undefeated league campaign.
Leading the way for the Crusaders were Brayden Sheehan ’24 (36), Connor Jackson ’26 (37), McNamara Quinn ’24 (38), Joey Bueme ’27 (38) and Halim Habib ’26 (42); Sam Atkinson ’25 added a 43.
Next up for the Crusaders: The All-Catholic individual championships are Tuesday at Cherry Hill Club in Fort Erie, Ontario. Habib won last year’s title.
Canisius, coached by former Crusader standout Joe Mitchell, also finished first in a prestigious midseason event, the 21-team Midwest Prep Classic in Meadville, Pa.
