Abuse by caregivers can be domestic violence. This can look like threats to not help someone, withholding medication or assistive devices, financially exploiting someone, making decisions for someone, making someone feel like a burden for needing help, among others.
Abuse is never the fault of the person being abused. Talk to someone you trust about the power dynamics between yourself and your caregivers and educate yourself on local resources.
