CORPSE BRIDE CANDY APPLES 🦋 Candy apples inspired by my favorite Time Burton character- the corpse bride! This was my first time making candy apples and I learnt a lot during the process! 😅 INGREDIENTS: Granny Smith apples Apple sticks (I used natural non toxic twigs) 4 cups granulated sugar 1 cup corn syrup 1 1/2 cups water Blue, purple, and white food coloring Edible butterflies Gummy worms Melted chocolate Place the sugar, corn syrup, water, and food coloring into a large saucepan and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to come to the boil, removing once it reaches 300F- you will need to check this with a candy thermometer. Please be careful as this is very hot! Press the sticks into the apples and dry each one as much as possible to avoid bubbles in the coating. Dip each apple into the hot candy syrup, then transfer to a greased tray.
