A couple of weeks ago, we announced a major sonder_project milestone — the completion of our FIFTIETH deep-water well, which was drilled at a primary school in the community of Thimbi in Malawi. Today, we wanted to share some gorgeous visuals from the inauguration ceremony for well #️⃣ 5️⃣0️⃣ ! The ceremony was attended by the 1,000 primary school students in Thimbi, along with teachers, administrators, members of the Thimbi community, plus our entire Malawi team, and even our country director from Burkina Faso, where the majority of our wells have been drilled. The afternoon was filled with joy and jubilation, including heartfelt speeches, music and poetry performances from students, as well as a vibrant cultural performance by local dancers in #GuleWamkulu costumes.
