#MoodySpotlight: This week, we are highlighting Bailey Evertson, a second-year advertising major from Magnolia, TX. Her favorite #TEXASMoody class was Intro to Integrated Brand Communication, taught by Professor Gary Wilcox. “He brought in former Moody students and other speakers to explain the ins and outs of the advertising and PR corporate world, which really inspired me to be more creative and work harder at my major to one day be in their shoes.” Evertson chose to study advertising because she was looking for an opportunity to explore both her creative and analytical side. “After I learned that this major provided opportunities to take creative classes in addition to statistically-based classes, I knew it was the one!” Evertson is a marketing intern at Resound Presents, a company that works with multiple live music venues in downtown Austin. “I focus on the social media presence of the venues, artists and Resound itself to ensure that we sell as many tickets as possible to ever...
