Our college recently hosted a workshop on “Human-Machine Teaming” and “Beneficial AI Systems,” which was attended by guests from Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), the International Society of Service Innovation Professionals (ISSIP), industry representatives from the U.S. and students at sjsu. “The AIST meeting was incredibly informative and offered a unique perspective on how AI can benefit society,” says Brian Trinh, ’25 Business Administration, who is concentrating in Management Information Systems.
