Bronxville senior Victoria McEnroe (victoriamcenroe) had won a state title last season, and it still felt like something was missing. After walking away heartbroken in past Section 1 singles tournaments, she returned to the finals for a third straight year. This time, she would not be denied. "I've played this tournament now three years in a row, and I lost in the final in tough matches two years in a row," McEnroe said. "To be able to pull it out this time, and play my best, it was really special."
