Don’t miss the eclipse! ⁣ ⁣ Tune in on Saturday, Oct. 14, to watch the solar eclipse with NASA as it crosses from Oregon to Texas.⁣ Click the link in the bio for more information on how to safely watch in person or on our livestreams. ⁣ ⁣⁣ During the “ring of fire” or annular eclipse, the Moon appears small because it is at or near its farthest point from Earth. Not entirely blocking out the Sun, a bright ring of sunlight forms around the Moon. A partial eclipse may be seen for those not in the “ring of fire” path. Specialized glasses must be worn while observing annular or partial eclipses.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Image description: A partial solar eclipse is seen as the sun rises behind the Delaware Breakwater Lighthouse, Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Lewes Beach in Delaware. This annular or “ring of fire” solar eclipse was only visible to some parts of Greenland, Northern Russia, and Canada. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Credit: NASA/Aubrey Gemignani⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ #Sun #Eclipse #RingOfFire #NASA #Moon #PartialEclipse #Artemis #Earth
