Gansevoort Peninsula: Manhattan’s First Public Beach (& More!) 🏝️ The largest park built in NYC since Central Park just opened this week at hudsonriverpark: Gansevoort Peninsula is free & open to the public There is a beach with umbrellas & chairs (but no swimming!), a sports field & fitness area, a salt marsh with 20 million oysters, areas for relaxing & picnicking & more! Gansevoort Peninsula is open daily from 6am - 1am. It is right next to 2 other amazing free spots: littleislandnyc and pier57.nyc Check it out while we still have beautiful weather!
