Today, September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (#OrangeShirtDay), a day meant to honour the healing journey of Indian Residential School survivors and their families. It also continues the ongoing process of reconciliation. Together with our Indigenous Relations Office, we are committed to working with the community to educate people about the history of Indigenous people in Calgary and the surrounding areas.
