BMW Group’s commitment to culture and art shines bright as we unveil the extensively restored “Red - Yellow - Blue” work group by Gerhard Richter 🔴🟡🔵 In 1973, the influential contemporary artist Gerhard Richter created this body of work for BMW. Richter’s works are often created from photographs of colour samples that he personally mixes on a palette. The three paintings of this series highlight this artistic approach. For 50 years, they have been the centerpiece of the entrance foyer of the BMW Group Headquarters – arguably the world’s most spectacular corporate entrance lobby. The paintings have been extensively restored to mark this anniversary and are newly presented in specially designed glass showcases.
