Have your lifting plan for the day? You should also have a warmup to go with it to get the muscles you’ll be using ready. Don’t go into lifting cold, you’re putting yourself at risk for either injury or engaging the wrong muscles.
Not sure if your form is correct? Ask for help. Knowing how your lift should feel & what muscles should be utilized will take your progress (especially with building muscle) a lot further.
What the heck is intentional rest time? I probably made the term up 🤷🏻♀️ AKA know how long you should be resting in between sets & why some rests should be shorter vs longer.
