Bax arrives in Fort Worth as a highly touted recruit and performed well in the spring. He was listed by Lindy’s Sports as the, ”Top Newcomer” to the Horned Frogs program. Jonathan Bax was a “Three-star recruit” coming out of high school and rated the No. 30 overall prospect in Louisiana. He was rated as the nation's No. 69 edge rusher.
