The Sophomore guard, who appeared in 27 contests with one start as a “True Freshman” scored a total of 64 points with 29 rebounds while shooting 25-of-75 (.333). Cruz had a career-high performance against St. John's (12/7) where he scored 14 points off the bench on 6-of-12 shooting. He grabbed a personal-best four rebounds in his first career start at Duquesne (12/14) and also totaled double-digit scoring at #10 Marquette (2/25) on 4-of-6 shooting in addition to four rebounds.  The former Four Star recruit played his senior season at Donda Academy in Simi Valley, Calif., where he averaged 12.8 points per game.
