To prepare you all for our Rose-Hulman Discovery Series next Sunday, October 15th, let us tell you a little about each of our featured musicians! For today, we will tell you about our wonderful concert master Erina Buchholz! Erina Buchholz is a 23-year-old violinist pursuing a Performer’s Diploma at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with Professor Kevork Mardirossian. She also graduated from IU with her Bachelor of Music in violin performance in 2022 as a Herman B Wells Scholar. Erina has performed as a soloist with the Gulf Coast Steinway Society Orchestra (Mobile, AL), Acadiana Symphony (Lafayette, LA), and Louisiana Youth Orchestra (Baton Rouge, LA). Before her appointment as the new concertmaster of the Terre Haute Symphony, she served in the orchestra as principal second violin for two seasons.
