The Kagatan is a classic Filipino cocktail made with 3 simple ingredients - Bold cold brew, dark rum, and creamy sweetened condensed milk.
My dad is from the Philippines so I grew up eating lots of Filipino food but this was my first time trying this cocktail!
I of course had to use kasamarum which is from the Philippines for this one.
Kagatan (makes 1)
◻️ 1 1/2 oz cold brew
◻️ 1 oz sweetened condensed milk
◻️ 2 oz rum
◻️ Garnish: coffee beans, edible flower
1. Add cold brew and condensed milk to a cocktail glass. Stir until the condensed milk is incorporated. Fill the glass with ice.
2. Add rum and stir.
3. If desired, garnish with coffee beans and an edible flower.
