💧Tips for filtering water in the backcountry!💧 1. Flowing water is ideal but if there is none around still water is okay, just try to get water a little ways away from shore. 2. Always bring a backup filter system in case one fails. 3. Filter ALL water no matter the source. Even though glacier melt seems super clear and clean you can’t see the microscopic pathogens. My go to filter if I’m with more than one person is the Katadyn BeFree 3L Gravity Microfilter.
