Here to break the stereotype that you need a ton of money to travel! Coming from a broke 24 year old who has been to over 15 countries🌎 1. Book your trip based off of cheap flight dates. Traveling in off seasons and not around holidays is best. I always choose my travel dates based on great flight deals! 2. Save money where you can. I don’t usually drink alcohol when I travel and if I eat out I like to eat at local mom and pops instead of the super popular or fancy places that tend to be overpriced. I also will buy groceries and cook my own meals while traveling. 3. Stay in hostels! It’s just a place to sleep so there’s no need to spend hundreds on accommodation. $20 a night will give you a bed, a kitchen to cook in, and usually lots of free events and tours. You get so much out of staying at hostels that you can’t get at a hotel. 4. Use public transportation.
