This Bulgarian coal power plant is a fossil crime 🚨 Today, Greenpeace Central & Eastern Europe activists climbed a 50-metre high cooling tower at Bulgaria’s Maritsa 3 coal power plant to paint the word ‘CRIME’ across the stack. 😷 As well as exacerbating the climate crisis, this plant is unleashing huge amounts of toxic pollution, devastating local communities and damaging the environment. It has already been suspended for breaching emission limits.
