I was given an opportunity to attend the Astros game 1 against the Rangers last night. However, for years all I could remember is the times my dad would tell me, “quiero que me consigas unos boletos pa un juego de los Astros.” If it was the price of the tickets at the time being too high, our schedule conflicting, or whatever it may be, I wasn’t able to ge those tickets for him. Until a friend of mine reached out and asked if I was interested in going. With no hesitation, I said, yes. And I knew papa y mama were going to be the first to go. This is truly one of the times I can remember, I have seen my parents checking off a bucket list moment together, and just enjoying life. The way I always dreamt it, was exactly how it went.
