This week our staff came together to taste and discuss Barolo. More specifically we took a look at 5 of the 11 communes that make up the region and discussed how geology and soil can effect these wines. Two of the wines we tasted are now offered by the glass as part of our weekly cellar series until they’re gone! This week we are showcasing young Barolos from Serralunga d’alba and Montforte d’alba. Both are home to some of the oldest soil formations in Barolo.
