Professors Linda J.M. Holloway and her colleague, April T. Berry built The Riverboat Curriculum Study Guide to encourage healthy conversations around the Montgomery Riverfront Brawl incident. Holloway intended to facilitate discussions with her students at Alabama State University, and similarly Berry wanted to provide support for veteran clients at Vets Recover in Alabama to process and express their feelings. The course’s study guide notes includes 50 questions, a conversation prompt and recommended readings by Black authors that prompts users to have bigger conversations and think critically about why events like these happen in the U.S. Tap the link in bio for the full story. // #MontgomeryBrawl #Alabama
