Día de los Muertos, a celebration rooted in ancient Mesoamerican traditions, is a time to honor and remember our loved ones who have passed away. ✨ 🌸 Ofrendas (Altars) are at the heart of this commemoration, filled with marigolds, candles, skulls, favorite foods, and cherished possessions of the departed. They are a beautiful fusion of personalities and traditions. 🎈 Come together to create your own ofrendas, celebrating the joy and impact our loved ones had on our lives. 🌟 Save the date: 📅 Sunday, 10/22 🕒 1pm The workshop will be led by Fonda Portales, an art historian and curator from boisestateuniversity This event is FREE, with a suggested donation of $3-$5.
