Last year we lost my beautiful grandma to cancer. (Exactly 1 year and 1 day ago) We found out late… so from diagnosis to passing we had less that 2 weeks with her. 💔 🤍
I remember taking the second photo a few days before she passed and having so many mixed emotions. I wanted her to be out of pain… I knew she would be in Gods presence… she had a beautiful faith. At the same time I wanted to create more memories with her.
I wanted her to see Asher grow up. She was so healthy and active that I truly believed I would have another 20+ years with her. Just one year earlier I remember telling her how happy it made me to see her hiking big trails in her 80’s. She was so full of life.
I know my Grandma Linda is with us in spirit. Now every fall 🍂 instead of feeling as much sadness… I hope to look around and take time to admire the beauty in nature the way she did. 🍂✨ Sending all my love to you if you are grieving in this season.
