M⚽️ The westernmustangsmenssoccer played the McMaster Marauders in their last regular season game on Subday. Despite a hard-fought game, the McMaster Marauders came away with the 2-0 win against the Mustangs. When speaking to Head Coach Martin Painter after the game, he noted that "it was a tough game, pretty evenly contested. I thought we did a lot of things well. Unfortunately, we didn't get the goal. You know, a tough goal to concede. I thought overall we played well – we've just got to be a little more clinical in both boxes. Through the middle of the field, I thought we were good and we've got to find a way to score. The goals we gave up were preventable". The Mustangs finish the regular season with a 4-2-6 record and will be on the road Wednesday night to start the ouasport playoffs. Stay tuned for more details.
