This kicker is 34 years old and is finally living out his dream as a college football player after serving in the military. In 2011, Matt Ganyard tried out twice for Virginia Football before graduating. He was cut both times. After, he joined the Marine Corps and served for 10 years. In 2022, Ganyard tried out for the team again but his hardship waiver was denied by the NCAA. Then in 2023, his waiver was granted and he’s now a kicker for the Virginia Cavaliers.
