Men’s Member-Guest at National An incredible few days down the shore and the last Member-Guest at the Union League in 2023 is in the books. A field of 192 players divided into 16 flights battled it out to be named champions. Play began on Thursday with 9 holes to get things going. 18 holes followed on Friday and Saturday. Foggy mornings turned to sunny afternoons before the chill and winds of fall kicked in for Saturday’s shootout. 16 teams qualified for the shootout which began on the opening holes of Meade and Grant. 8 teams advanced to Meade 2 and only 3 remained to play Sherman 8. The Lookout was packed as the rest of the field looked on to the remaining two teams on Sherman 7. Dan DiLella & John Spagnola and Andrew Driscoll & Michael Wroblewski stepped to the tee. An impressive 2nd shot Wroblewski would seal the deal for the duo. Congratulations, gentlemen!
