A cooler air mass from a system moving south out of Canada will bring snow down to pass levels later Tuesday afternoon and evening. This is the region’s first winter weather advisory of the season and it is in effect from 5 p.m. Tuesday through 5 p.m. Wednesday above 3,500 feet. All of the Oregon Cascade Mountain pass highways are likely to see accumulating snowfall during that period.
