This past Saturday, October 21st I had the honor and privilege to sing at the Residence of the Consulate General in Frankfurt, Germany. I would like to extend my gratitude to Thatcher thatcher_scharpf and Donna Scharpf for inviting me to sing, for organizing the wonderful evening, and for their hospitality. It was such a wonderful experience to present my concert “From Coast to Coast: A Journey through American Song” featuring works by Beach, Lang, Copland, Barber, Powell, Hundley, Price, Bolcom, and Charles, with the accompaniment and collaboration of pianist, Wolfgang Weiss. I was happy to speak with the audience members afterwards and hear that they enjoyed hearing some American Art Songs (which are lesser known in Europe).
