A massive manhunt is ongoing for four convicts who escaped from a Bibb County jail last week. They are facing charges ranging from murder to drug trafficking. Their escape vehicle, a blue Dodge Charger, was found 80 miles from the jail. Over the past five years, 1,100 documented escapes from law enforcement custody occurred across 26 states. Experts attribute these escapes to severe understaffing in American jails and prisons.
