Yesterday evening was the Trinity International Film Festival, one of my favorite festivals in the Detroit area. As always Marshalle Favors and Lazar Favors put together a beautiful festival that brought together the best in Detroit film.
Our film Hazel's Eyes was lucky enough to take home the Festival Choice Award, which was pretty neat. But as I've said before, none of the accolades or screenings would be possible without the hard work of the cast and crew that made the film come together. I am forever grateful to you all, and it was the joy of my life to work with you.
A special thanks to sunnieysideup & Zach Kouba for coming out and spending the evening with us -- we're lucky to have you as friends.
Also, a good friend and collaborator Thomas Butcher for taking home the well deserved Independent Spirit Award for his amazing short First Born!
