The Cadet Wing has established a support group called Victims, Allies, Survivors and Thrivers (VAST) to help cadets who have experienced sexual assault. The group aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for those who are dealing with the effects of such trauma. Its main objective is to provide support, help, and healing to its members. VAST meetings are also open to friends of cadets who are survivors of sexual assault. Teal is the official color of sexual violence prevention, and the teal ribbon is the international symbol promoting sexual assault awareness. Our cadet teal ropes work hand-in-hand with VAST to help support cadets who are victims of sexual assault.
