This month I’m participating in the jacquespepinfoundation Jacques Pépin TechniqueChallenge and demoing butter flower technique. If you don’t know, The Jacques Pépin Foundation supports free culinary and life skills training by providing grants to community kitchens across the country. I am really honored to be selected to participate in this challenge. I’m going to be honest with you, it did take a few sticks of butter to realize a few butter flowers. I really enjoyed learning this technique. It looks pretty served on the Holiday table next to some warm apple cider biscuits.
