I feel the need… the need for speed #Artemis II pilot AstroVicGlover met with his former teacher and current X-59 test pilot, Nils Larson, at NASA_Langley’s open house. The pair met over two decades ago at the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. Larson is instrumental in NASA’s X-59 Quesst mission, our first purpose-built supersonic plane, that could change the rules about commercial supersonic flights. “I always knew Victor would go far. It’s cool to think that far means the Moon. I was excited to see him picked up as an astronaut, then get to fly to the International Space Station, and now he gets to go to the Moon as part of Artemis II.
