Photographer Friday 📸 This weeks feature is Cody Cervenka, who primarily shoots for DC United and the USMNT. Here’s some of his story thus far in photographing the beautiful game: On his start in the field, he said: “I have always felt a connection to art. Pottery was my expression of choice through high school and early college, but photography eventually became my go to because of its accessibility. I had used my two years of eligibility playing soccer for @frederickccsoccer, but still had some classes to take for one more semester.” After being offered to help as Team Manager, he started taking photos for their website. “That fall season, shooting on auto settings and not having a clue what I was doing, solidified my love for photography and the beautiful game. I eventually went on to University of Maryland to shoot their men’s soccer team, created a squarespace website outlining my work, and secured a photography internship with @dcunited, the rest is history.” On his connection ...
