I won the tournament and surprisingly took home the OW award for 30+, which was an awesome tomahawk steak . I’m proud of myself not necessarily for those accomplishments, but more so for just getting out there, stepping out of my comfort zone and having fun with it. Even at this age, with no stakes, wrestling in a competition can be nerve wracking. We must remember this as parents and coaches: just getting out there on the mat is a huge accomplishment.
