We love to have my son’s friends over for trick-or-treating and dinner on Halloween. This year, I will have this festive fruit platter out as friends arrive — fill the kids up on fruit and a high-protein Greek yogurt dip before we head out to collect candy!
The dip is super simple to make - start off by making a SunButter caramel sauce with just two ingredients — maple syrup and SunButter. Once it’s super creamy and looks like a caramel sauce, add a swirl into plain Greek yogurt.
Serve this as a healthier take on caramel apples, or get creative and assemble a fruit platter to go around it.
I chose super simple options to decorate the platter —
Mandarin Orange Pumpkins: Peel mandarin oranges, and then cut a piece of celery into about a 1-inch piece and stick into the top as a stem.
Banana Ghosts: Cut bananas in half and add two for eyes.
