Nissin's classic Cup Noodles is getting a more sustainable makeover: new microwavable PAPER cups, bidding farewell to its current Styrofoam cups.
Nissin Foods USA, Cup Noodles’ parent company, calls the shift a “historic change” since the brand’s U.S. arrival in 1973. The company says the transition aligns with its “Earth Food Challenge 2030,” aiming to minimize carbon dioxide emissions by 30% by 2030 and reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
Cup Noodles’ new paper packaging hits stores early 2024.
